Bailey (Spine and Health Mascot)

Bailey the Boston Terrier applied for the position of Spine and Health Mascot in 2011. There was stiff competition from other entrants including the local cat, a goldfish and a multitude of small fluffy white dogs.
Baileys love of patients, his PhD ( Puppy Has Dopey eyes ) from the university of Boston, and unusually good bladder control meant Bailey was a shoe in!
In his spare time Bailey likes sleeping, eating, walks in the park and dog bottom sniffing. Bailey is an adrenaline junky, just like his dad, Dr. Adam Meredith,
Bailey would love to go sky diving, water skiing and kite surfing when he is big enough. At the moment he is training for his adrenaline lifestyle by playing catch in the park (turbo style), tackling large dogs, and stealing food from picnic hampers!
Next time you see him at Spine & Health be sure to say hi and give him a pat!
Dr. Eric Hansen

Starting karate at the age of 10, he holds a black belt in weapons and a 3rd dan black belt in karate. Having successfully competed at a state level, he represented NSW for several years at a national level winning gold in team kata, silver in weapons kata and bronze in kumite (fighting).
Eric has a keen interest in sports, working closely with the Australian national karate team and many of his patients are competitors in tennis, golf, baseball, swimming and running.
Dr Hansen’s curiosity to understand how things work lead him into further studies in the field of Functional Neurology. Your brain is just like a muscle, but if this muscle gets weak through being overworked, underworked or traumatised it can have drastic impacts on your health. Common symptoms of a poor nervous system include:
- Headaches
- Poor attention/concentration
- Digestive issues
- Anxiety/ Depression
- Poor balance/ clumsy
- Poor emotional control
Poor brain function can be seen in toddlers and up, it’s never too early to get your brain checked.
Since starting at North Sydney Spine & Health in January 2008, he has loved every minute. One of his greatest success stories is the patient who first visited him experiencing severe migraines every 2 days. They were taking antidepressant and antiepileptic medication which were slowly destroying their kidneys and they had been on dialysis on 2 previous occasions. After ABC™ therapy they reported only the occasional headache with a slight migraine every few weeks. This improvement in symptoms has made a dramatic change to their quality of life.
Dr. Adam Schober

Adam graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Sciences and Masters of Chiropractic. He has been an Advanced Biostructural Correction™ (ABC™) practitioner in the United Kingdom for the past two years.
Born and raised in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Adam grew up playing Rugby and Cricket for both local and school teams whilst maintaining an active surfing lifestyle. Although enjoying activities involving sunshine, he was never one to pass up an opportunity to take trips to the snowfields in Australia or any other country.
Aside from sporting commitments Adam is a dedicated musician playing piano from a young age and further picking up the bass guitar in his later years at school.
Adam is very keen to pick up where he left off from Glasgow and continue to care for the spines and health of Sydney!
Dr. Clare Fulton

Clare has a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. She is trained in ABC™ (Advanced Biostructural Correction™), Applied Kinesiology (AK) and has done further studies in her specialty, pregnancy care for women. Clare is passionate about helping women to have safe, happy and healthy pregnancies.
Clare’s journey to postural based chiropractic care (ABC TM) began after suffering from a debilitating blown disc in her early 20’s from playing hockey at a competitive level.
In her early career Dr. Fulton tried many forms of chiropractic and rehabilitation for her disc but her disc symptoms worsened with time. The disc continued to degenerate to the point where back pain was preventing Dr. Fulton from being able to treat her clients. Eventually it progressed to very painful nerve pain and compression. This situation was becoming very grim indeed.
Clare, although a successful chiropractor at another clinic, consulted the Spine and Health centre as an actual patient and started their unique posture based chiropractic care and started improving immediately.
Dr. Fulton became pain free and back to work in record time and stayed pain free. From here, it was clear what to do! Dr. Fulton left her job working as a sports chiropractor and started the Mosman Spine and Health clinic and has been happily (and pain free) working ever since! As of February 2013 she also shares her skills at the North Sydney Spine and Health Clinic!
